The A-80 is a stereo version of the 50th anniversary model A-300, and is a pure Class A stereo power amplifier that pursues reduced output impedance and constant voltage drive to bring out the full potential of the speakers. It is a flagship model. The power amplification stage uses 10 parallel push-pull class A operation using power MOSFETs, achieving linear high power outputs of 65W/8Ω, 130W/4Ω, 260W/2Ω, and 520W/1Ω. In addition, noise performance has been improved by using an ``instrumentation amplifier'' whose signal input section is composed of a balanced circuit, ``ideal gain distribution'' between the signal input section and power amplification section, and ``MCS+'' which is a two-parallel circuit. has been raised to the maximum. Additionally, a damping factor of 1,000 has been achieved by reducing output impedance through balanced remote sensing and semiconductor switches. In addition, it is equipped with a protection circuit that prevents short-circuit accidents of the speaker terminals, so you can use it with confidence.

The new C-2300 is an entirely new model that integrates the C2000 series, the standard for separate systems, and the C-2400 series, which has gained tremendous support from music lovers as a middle-class pre-main amplifier.

C-2300 has the "Balanced AAVA" volume control circuitry in the higher-end C-2900. In addition to the low and high frequencies, a new 4-band tone control allows adjusting the mid-low and mid-high frequencies, providing greater flexibility in adjusting the bandwidth balance. Accuphase are not calling this newly minted C-2900 precision pre amplifier a member of their 50th Anniversary club. Fifty years is a long long time in audio history. Accuphase started life in 1972 and within a year they had moved into their purpose built Yokohama factory, a building they still occupy. Three months later the first models emerged, the P-300, C-200 and T-100. All these models are famous, sought after and most are still giving faithful service. Indeed Revolution Turntable have the T-100 and the first Integrated, the E-202 (1974) as working demonstration units in our boutique! Many famous marques are still in existence but few if any can trace their ownership, location and importantly, manufacturing culture and philosophy, back to the very first day they started.

To mark and celebrate fifty productive years, Accuphase have embarked on a series of Anniversary models. This fabulous C-3900 precision stereo preamp is in fact the second to emerge, the first was the equally fabulous E-800 Class A Integrated tour-de-force. A force so irresistible that Pierre, our intrepid leader, is in love! There is more, although not heralded as an anniversary model, the new ground breaking C-47 is worthy of sharing the anniversary podium as a truly high end phono preamplifier.

With the C-47, the marque has bestowed deep respect for the venerable vinyl recording format, whilst simultaneously mastering the vitally important first stage of amplification and equalisation. This machine has everything a vinyl enthusiast may need and want. Fully mono, fully balanced and fully adjustable. All adjustments are from the front and there are a total of four inputs - multi arm turntable owners can go nuts. Importantly the balanced input is truly balanced and correctly configured for moving coil only. Since launching the revolutionary DG-28 in 1997, the DG series, which combines sound field correction (Voicing) and sound field creation (Equalising) functions, has been pursuing the ease of use and high electrical performance.
