The A-80 is a stereo version of the 50th anniversary model A-300, and is a pure Class A stereo power amplifier that pursues reduced output impedance and constant voltage drive to bring out the full potential of the speakers. It is a flagship model. The power amplification stage uses 10 parallel push-pull class A operation using power MOSFETs, achieving linear high power outputs of 65W/8Ω, 130W/4Ω, 260W/2Ω, and 520W/1Ω. In addition, noise performance has been improved by using an “instrumentation amplifier” whose signal input section is composed of a balanced circuit, “ideal gain distribution” between the signal input section and power amplification section, and “MCS+” which is a two-parallel circuit. has been raised to the maximum. Additionally, a damping factor of 1,000 has been achieved by reducing output impedance through balanced remote sensing and semiconductor switches. In addition, it is equipped with a protection circuit that prevents short-circuit accidents of the speaker terminals, so you can use it with confidence.

The Accuphase A-80 is a Class A power amplifier developed as a stereo amplifier version of our 50th anniversary A-300 model. Optimizing the 10-parallel push-pull power MOS-FETs in the output stage produces an output power of 65 W into 8 ohms, 130 W into 4 ohms, 260 W into 2 ohms, and 520 W into 1 ohm.
