Innovation Basic
An innovative entry
The Innovation Basic provides the main technical characteristics of our Innovation,
in a reduced "Basic" design that rivals it's larger siblings.
Supplied with Majik LP12 or available as an upgrade, Krane is a high quality tonearm which, combined with the Karousel bearing, significantly elevates the performance of the entry level deck and provides even greater value.
This high performance tonearm features a static-balanced design and is hand assembled with high quality, precision aluminium and stainless steel components. It includes a polished Tungsten and Sapphire vertical bearing with dual ceramic horizontal bearing assembly, both of which are long-lasting and provide very low friction/rotational mass.
Koil is a superb first step onto the ladder of premium moving coil cartridges. This Majik-level cartridge provides a step up in performance from Adikt; and is available either as an upgrade, or fitted as standard to a new Majik LP12 MC.
Choose Koil if you intend to use your Majik LP12 with a moving coil phono preamplifier. Upgrade from Adikt to progress your journey along the path to vinyl playback perfection.
Two years in development, Krystal uses the design principles of our leading moving coil cartridge Kandid to capture the minute changes in the record groove, letting you hear every musical detail.
Krystal features a similar approach to minimising mass as Kandid, using a nude design to give the cartridge less inertia so it can react more quickly to the changes in the groove. It also uses the triple-point mounting system for a solid connection to the tone arm head shell, while the aircraft grade 7075 aluminium chassis provides a lightweight, stiff and stable platform for the generator. Even the adhesive used on Krystal was painstakingly selected to provide the most rigid bond possible to avoid any dampening effects.
Whether you specify Krystal on your current turntable or buy it as part of an Akurate LP12 , you're guaranteed to enjoy a more musical performance from all your vinyl.
The Parasound Zphono is an well thought out entry phono stage. Single ended (RCA) inputs and outputs, able to handle both MM and MC cartridges. Unusual for an entry level phono stage is the lack of the wall wart power supply. This unit takes it's power full strength, via the usual IEC socket. A reversible AC polarity switch helps with any system miss-match that can induce mains hum.
A neat, high performance and versatile entry level phono stage. Highly recommended. We have one on demo. The 6000CDT is a dedicated CD transport incorporating the same slot-loading mechanism as audiolab’s flagship CD player, the 8300CD. Extremely robust and reliable, it uses a read ahead digital buffer to reduce disc reading failures, able to play scratched and damaged CDs that are unreadable by conventional mechanisms.

The Accuphase Oxygen-Free Copper Series cables use a densely braided outer conductor of oxygen free copper, reliably shielding the two twisted internal conductors also made of highly pure copper. The result is a high quality cable with negligible transfer losses and excellent resistance to induced noise. The superb performance of these cables ensures that the sonic character of top quality audio components connected in a system is fully preserved. Listeners are able to enjoy utterly natural, well balanced sound that gives free expression to the full musical spectrum.

Audio cables must fulfill a number of important requirements. They must have minimum transmission losses, not introduce any sonic character of their own, and bring out the sonic and musical qualities of connected equipment to the fullest. Audio cables from Accuphase employ the most up-to-date sophisticated technology to fulfill these goals. As a result of intensive research into conductor and insulation materials as well as cable construction principles, combined with extensive series of listening tests, we proudly present this latest high-quality cable that introduces virtually no losses and that allows the music to emerge in all its refined glory.

Celebrating 50 years of manufacturing Accuphase are introducing a new flagship SACD Transport and Digital Processor to complement the the fabulous C-3900 Preamplifier, the impressive E-800 class A Integrated Amplifier and the versatile C-47 fully balanced Phono Stage. The new DP-1000 and DC-1000 are easily amongst the very finest compact disk playback systems available. There is of course the opportunity to use the DC-1000 as a precision digital decoder for a variety of digital sources with no less than eight separate digital inputs featuring five different formats.
Completely redesigned from scratch, the 8300A integrated amplifier is miles ahead of what was already an industry-leader. Higher power, the addition of a phono stage and new Audiolab styling means the 8300A is more stylish and more versatile than ever. Whilst improving on an unfussy and easy to use design, the 8300A offers so much more. Efficiency of the amplifier has been improved, offering an increased 75W RMS of power while the addition of a phono input offers playback that caters for vinyl enthusiasts.
In one of the most significant product roll outs in our history, Audio-Technica is introducing an all-new line up of turntables. The new models range from bedroom enthusiast turntables to entry level. The new turntables offer a host of upgrades, all come with high-quality phono cartridges and feature sleeker, updated styling in a variety of finishes.
The AT-LPW50PB is a fully manual, belt-drive turntable designed to give you optimal high-fidelity audio reproduction from vinyl. It features an anti-resonance MDF plinth in a high gloss piano black finish, a straight carbon fibre tone arm with adjustable tracking force, an AT-HS4 headshell with an AT-VM95E Dual Moving Magnet phono cartridge, and a built-in selectable phono preamp.
The ideal first step into high performance vinyl playback, Majik LP12 MC uses carefully selected Linn engineered components to let you experience the iconic LP12 in an affordable package. It includes Linn’s latest sandwich construction aluminium sub chassis, patented single point bearing, internal low noise power supply, Krane tone arm and the Linn Koil MC cartridge.
The Debut Carbon Evo Acryl has taken over from the Pro-Ject Esprit as Revolution Turntable favourite entry level turntable for those wanting to start out in vinyl playback. Manual tone arm controls, electronic speed control, belt drive from a sorbothane isolated precision DC motor spinning a high mass acrylic platter. An 8.6inch carbon fibre tone arm together with a Ortofon 2M Red cartridge completes the playback package. Chassis mount RCAs and an adjustable dust cover add to the user friendly features of this capable machine.
Straight out of the box the Debut Evo Acryl is a great performer, however the basic design is so sound that the table will respond well to tweeks, enhancements and improvements. Not the least of which would be more advanced cartridges, record clamps/weights, better cables, platter mats, isolation platforms and superior phono stages.
The new Accuphase DP-570 is typically an evolutionary advance over the DP-560 predecessor rather than a revolutionary improvement. For the number crunchers there is a 12% improvement in the signal to noise ratio along with a 30% reduction in THD noise!! For that fabled trickle down effect, Accuphase have implemented the new ESS Technology’s 32bit Hyper Stream II DAC ES9028PRO, the very same DAC used in the flagship single box player the Accuphase DP-750
There is more of course including updated casework and programmable play list via remote. Also play back of computer recorded disks is now possible such as 192kHz 24 bit data of WAV, FLAC, AIFF format, and 5.6MHz 1bit DSD data also. The list does not end there so have a look at the Accuphase web site and/or give us a call, phone or email, ask for a brochure and have a chat.
For me, the organic design of the Yvette makes it the Wilson product that comes closest to the magic of an Apple design—and the one most pleasing to my eye. That beauty in the eye of this beholder, combined with its rich tonal palette, its facility to re-create a large lifelike soundstage and its flair for sounding larger than it is, make the Yvette my new reference—a speaker that fits my space and fulfills my requirements for engaging, dynamic, rich sound...
The new Yvette draws from this formidable tradition. But perhaps most importantly, it sources much of its technology directly from the enormous research-and-development reservoir of what is perhaps Wilson’s most prolific era of innovation to date. The Sasha Series 2, the Alexia, and Dave Wilson latest WAMM project have all informed Yvette's development , in some cases, with identical components.
