Parasound Zphono
Overview:-
Introducing the Parasound ZPhono, minus the usual wall wart and therefore minus the hum and RF interference these things pick up and make. Able to deal with both Moving Magnet together with Moving Coil cartridges. No fussing with switching or adjustments on this unit, it is entry level unit after all. There is of course a switch to select between MM and MC cartridge types. And unusually there is also a mains polarity switch which is a boon for systems plagued with mains hum. Used correctly the ZPhono is as quiet as a church mouse with all the turntable and cartridge combinations we tried.
