Overview

Since Accuphase started with the P-300 in 1973, the 50 year history of Accuphase Power Amplifiers has continued to evolve, with a wide range of variations such as Monophonic, Class-A and Class-AB. The Accuphase P-4600 is the successor to the P-4500 launched in 2018. This new model is a direct descendant of the first P-300. The P-4600 is a mighty entry level power amplifier that also gets very close to the audio performance of our flagship A-80.

The P-4600 power amplifier was created by carefully implementing a series of state-of-the-art circuitry and the highest quality materials

The P-4600 is a Class AB stereo power amplifier that incorporates as much technology as possible from high end models while also providing powerful drive capabilities. The power amplification stage uses a 6-parallel push-pull power transistor output stage, achieving a high power rating of 150W/8Ω and 300W/4Ω which is much higher than the previous model. Achieving an S/N ratio of 125dB and a damping factor of 800, it drives large speakers with ease and produces deep sound.
